Finally, Google Turkey is established

We welcome the opening of Google Turkey istanbul office and are eagerly waiting for the announcements to follow.
With a seed capital of 5000 YTL and top managers; George Reyes and David C. on paper Google said hello to the Turkish business world. David usually helps in legal matters and therefore he and George Reyes are on the books, however, it is expected that Nikesh Arora VP of European Operations to hold a more hands on role at Google Turkey.
Google still did not verify the establishment of the Google Turkey Office, so wait for the announcements.

    Google should gain the geopolitical advantage of Turkiye… It’s a pity to establish only a Advertisement agency in Turkiye, they should manage their Middle east and East Europe operations from Turkiye…

    I also think that Google is not very well prepared for global expansion. I believe that there is a huge first mover advantage for Google in many countries. However, the company is not fast enough to answer the needs of these countries. By the way the needs are pretty much the same for other countries. (See my blogs on Google Adwords & Adsense)
